Psoriasis requires long-term monitoring, yet conventional tools like the Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) are time-consuming and prone to inter-rater variability. Recent progress in digital health has created opportunities for more objective and accessible remote assessment. This study presents a structured approach for the remote evaluation of psoriasis severity using a smartphone-based, AI-assisted medical imaging platform. It investigates the extent to which image-derived metrics reflect disease severity and treatment response. By combining AI-derived measures with physician scoring, the study evaluates the performance of remote image-based assessment alongside standard clinical evaluation, supporting potential integration into research and routine care.
